Well, it had to happen one day! A tea cosy with a pom pom - but as I'm sure you'll agree it isn't 'naff' at all! (or am I wrong - let me know). Trying to add some new 'designs' of tea cosy to my shop, I plugged for a simple striped tea cosy.Hand knitted using 2 strands of yarn in 3 colours - cream, turquoise and mauve (smoky amethyst according to the ball band!); I am pleased with the results. I worked the stripes in a combination of 1 row and 3 row stripes to add a bit more interest. There are openings at each side for the handle and spout.
